We are on a mission to introduce people & develop those to the beauty of open water swimming. 

As a life long fan of the water, meeting my wife who had no open water experience, we realised that there was hundreds if not more people who wanted to enjoy the benefits of open water with no idea where or how to start. Dip & Explore was born

We are offering a range of open water plans from people learning to relax in the water to those training for their first triathlon and beyond. We can run anything from 1:1 sessions to group sessions.

Online coaching plans are available for those who do not want to have face to face sessions or simply want to add something new to their existing outdoor swims

We are now a 3 person operation - 

John is a Level 2 Open Water Swim Coach, Level 2 Swim Teacher and Level 2 Swimming Coach and has work with multiple clubs and learn to swim schemes over the last 25 years. He has coached swimmers to regional and national level as well as introducing people to open water and swimming their first lap. 

Claire is a Level 2 Swimming Teacher & Level 2 Prefundamentals Swimming Coach of 19 years and runs behind the scenes including course and event organisation

Our newest Addition is Jenny - our Level 1 Qualified Teacher and RLSS Lifeguard
