Open Water Development Day 

Location: Cromhall Quarry - South West Maritime Academy

Dip & Explore are offering an Open Water Development Day in May 2025 to be held at Cromhall Quarry. 

This is open to all swimmers with an interest in competing in distance and open water swimming but will have a heavy focus on SW Regionals & Nationals

This event will cover distance swimming as well as race techniques e.g. mass starts / feeding stations etc. There are 20 spaces available on this day.

The day will consist of 

9:30 Sign In

9:45 - 11.15 First Swim

11:45 - 1:15 Talk on race skills / Lunch / Team Games 

1:30 - 2:45 Second Swims

3:15-3:30 Sign Out / End of Day
