13th June : Cotswold Big Swim For this event our swimmers will be encouraged to enter relays only if they have a regional slot the week after.  Entries and information through the below linkhttps://dbmax.co.uk/events/

Swim England Regionals Member of a Swim England registered swimming club? The south west regionals are being held 21st June at Lake 86. All swimmers have this as a targeted event

Swim England Nationals 25/26th July - Come top 4 in your age group at nationals? We have the opportunity for a national event for which 5 dip and explore squad members qualified last year! This will be by invitation only but hold the date

Cotswold Big Swim - Early September - This event is a lovely distance day (and even John joins in on the relays!)

• 08.30 - 5k 
• 09.15 - 3.8k 
• 09.45 - 1.9k 
• 12.00 - 4 x 200m relay

Maritime Challenge Well what a day was had yesterday. Dip & Explore held our first event - Splash & Dash: Maritime Challenge and had 16 amazing swimmers take on a range of events and distances. 
For our youngest swimmer - aged only 10! - a small lap of the lake in an amazing time of 14 minutes 7 seconds. 
Our 12-13s males and females then came in at a variety of times from 29 - 33 and a half minutes for their 2k events. Our first place swimmer has only been training a few months and flew through the course. Next up was our acclimitisation for the 14-16s, 16-18s and 25+ made up of our brave master swimmer Matt - 9 swimmers dove in together with the majority coming in about the 45 minute mark with the exception of our national swimmer Sophia who came in at an impressive 41 minutes 29 seconds - a 3 minute 40 second PB on her national time just 2 months before! Special mention goes to our Para swimmer Harry - 57 minutes 22 seconds - improving from his challenge swim time 6 weeks ago of 1 hour 13 minutes
